Published by the Promised Messiah(as) in May 1893, Sachcha'i ka Izhar [The Truth Revealed] is a short collection of letters, articles, and public announcements set amidst the backdrop of the well-known debate between the Promised Messiah(as) and the Christian missionary 'Abdullah Atham, the proceedings of which were later published in the book Jang-e-Muqaddas. [The Holy War] In this small booklet Huzoor included the statement by the Abdullah Atham that in case Atham loses debate he will convert to Islam. He also included an announcement made by Dr. Martyn Clark published in paper Noor Afshan of Amritsar dated 12 May 1893. In this announcement Dr. Clark, in order to avoid debate with Promised Messiah, pointed to Muslims of Jundiala that the person they have appointed as their leader (Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmed) is considered a heretic and a non-Muslim by other Muslims. Dr. Clark was quoting from the magazine Ishaatul Sunnah of Moulvi Mohammad Hussain Batalvi. On behalf of the Muslims of Jundiala Mian Mohammad Baksh Sahib wrote that they consider such Moulvis as instigators who would consider a Muslim, like Hazrat Ahmad, a heretic.
